Common faults and solutions of SMD LED lamp for fine-pitch led display

01 Module dead leds or knocked leds

Reason:

1. Dead leds below 50ppm(0.005%) are normal dead lights.

2. Hit the leds during installation, and accidentally knock the leds during use.

Maintenance method:

1. Replace the problematic module with the spare module.

2. Upload the calibration data of the corresponding spare module in the U disk.

3. Mark the maintenance reason on the replaced module, and mark the exact coordinate position of the module on the big screen.

02 Module color bar

Symptoms:

1. The color of the vertical bars in the module is abnormal: Abnormally dark and bright, Abnormal constant light, and red/green/blue colors are abnormal.

2. Reason: The module chip is abnormal, some led lamp in the column is short-circuited, the circuit of the PCB board is short-circuited, and the modules are squeezed.

Maintenance method:

1. Replace problematic modules with spare led modules.

2. Upload the calibration data of the corresponding spare module in the U disk.

3. The reason for maintenance shall be indicated on the replaced module, and the exact coordinate position of the module on the large screen shall be marked.

03 Module has color blocks/color bars

Symptoms: A rectangular/strip-shaped abnormal color area appears on the module.

Reason: An IC on the module is abnormal.

Maintenance method:

1. Replace problematic modules with spare led modules.

2. Upload the calibration data of the corresponding spare module in the U disk.

3. The reason for maintenance shall be indicated on the replaced module, and the exact coordinate position of the module on the large screen shall be marked.

04 Module without calibration data

Symptoms: Take the module as a unit, there is a phenomenon of blurred screen/mosaic, or white or gray.

Reason: The module has not uploaded the calibration data or the calibration data is lost.

Maintenance method:

1. Re-upload the calibration data of the module and upload the calibration data of the whole screen.

2. You can also choose to temporarily close the calibration.

05 The signal/power connection of the module is abnormal

Symptoms: A single module is black with no display or the display is incomplete.

Reason: The connection between 5V power cable and flat cable of module is abnormal.

Maintenance method:

Remove the module, and connect the 5V power cable or flat cable.
